About

If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea. -Antoine de Saint-Exupery

As a college student I was deeply touched by the Chi Alpha ministry at UC Davis. Under the direction and care of my campus ministers, I experienced a community that helped me grow both personally, relationally, and spiritually. Over time God developed a passion in me to see college students reconciled to God through faith in Jesus, and he even introduced me to my future wife who shared the same calling. After several months of prayer and consultation with our directors, we moved to a brand new city with a big dream. In January 2010, with the backing of an incredible support team, seasoned Chi Alpha mentors, and most of all help from the Holy Spirit, we began a new Chi Alpha ministry at UC Berkeley to reach college students with the amazing message of Christ. It’s been a wonderful journey so far and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

So cool Marc! Glad Semra made me come on here and read your blogs. Very interesting and inspired thoughts. I also laughed out loud several times. It’s true. Semra is my witness.
